To celebrate Mothers Day and to say thank you to our customers, we have packed delicious handmade kimchi dumplings for you to take free with every two jars of kimchi purchased.
These yummy mouthfuls are best eaten warm. Here are some ways you can heat them up:
Simply heat using a microwave for approximately 1 minute on high settings.
Place a cup containing water inside the microwave as well during heating so that the dumplings do not become too dry (it works!).
2. Pan fry
Pre-heat pan on high and add 1 teaspoon of your preferred oil.
Add the frozen dumplings to the pan.
Add 2 tablespoons of water to the pan and then cover with a lid. (Caution: the pan will spit on the addition of water to the oil)
Reduce heat to the lowest setting and leave covered for 2 minutes. (The splattering sound will slowly subside)
Turn the heat off and lift the lid to flip the sides of the dumplings.
Return the lid on to the pan and leave covered for 5 minutes. (The residual heat will finish heating the dumplings)
3. Boiling water
Simply add to boiling water for 2 minutes, take them out and eat.
The dumplings can be a yummy addition to soups or to your favourite noodles.
We loved sampling these testers with our spicy wombok kimchi and then with seasoned natto :)
